Rokna Political Desk: The Islamic Republic of Iran, while emphasizing the adoption of political, legal, and economic measures to safeguard its national rights and interests, believes that the establishment of communication routes and the removal of blockades in transportation networks will serve the stability, security, and economic development of the nations of the region only when conducted within the framework of mutual interests, respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the regional countries, and without foreign interference.

According to Rokna, quoting the Government Information Portal, the full text of the statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran is as follows:
"The Islamic Republic of Iran closely follows the ongoing developments in the South Caucasus region and remains in contact with both neighboring countries, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, regarding these developments.
Undoubtedly, peace and stability in the Caucasus region are beneficial to all regional countries. The Islamic Republic of Iran, welcoming the finalization of the peace agreement text by the two countries, regards this development as an important step towards achieving lasting peace in the region.
At the same time, it expresses its concern over the negative consequences of any form of foreign intervention, by any means or method, especially near the common borders, which disrupts the security and lasting stability of the region.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, while emphasizing the adoption of political, legal, and economic measures to protect its national rights and interests, believes that the establishment of communication routes and the removal of blockades in transportation networks will serve the stability, security, and economic development of the nations of the region only when conducted within the framework of mutual interests, respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the regional countries, and without foreign interference.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is prepared to continue constructive cooperation based on mutual interests with both the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia for the preservation of peace, stability, and economic development of the region through bilateral and regional cooperation mechanisms, such as the 3+3 framework."
