Araghchi Announces: The Issue of Unexploded US Bombs at Iran’s Nuclear Facilities
Rokna Political Desk: Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced the presence of unexploded bombs at the country’s nuclear facilities following the bombardment during the 12-day war, stressing the necessity of drafting a safety protocol for inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said: “I asked the Director General of the Agency whether you have any specific law or protocol for visiting sites that have been targeted. He said no; this situation is unprecedented.”
Araghchi continued: “I told him that before any visit, there must be a protocol in place, because safety and security issues are involved; there are unexploded bombs, and there are matters that we must reach agreement on, and only then can inspections be carried out. We are in contact with the Agency on this matter.”
