White House Spokesperson Responds to “Death to America” Slogan

The White House spokesperson, in response to a question from a journalist about whether Donald Trump considers Iran a threat to the United States, referred to anti-American slogans.

The journalist had asked whether Trump regards Iran as a threat. In response, the spokesperson said: “Iran chants ‘Death to America’; so you tell us whether this is a threat or not.”
