Hawkish Senator: Any Iran–US Agreement Must Receive Congressional Approval

According to Rokna, Senator Lindsey Graham reacted to the Iran–US talks held in Muscat by posting on the X social media platform, claiming:
“With regard to any agreement between Iran and the United States, I hope that through diplomacy it can achieve our national security objectives and also meet the needs of the Iranian people. Given Iran’s behavior with respect to agreements, persuading others will be difficult. Nevertheless, I have an open mind and understand that any agreement between the Islamic Republic and the United States must be submitted to the US Congress for review and a vote.”
