Hamas Denies Disarmament Claims, Urges Media
Rokna Political Desk: The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has officially denied recent claims regarding its disarmament, stressing that all verified statements are released exclusively through its official website and Telegram channel. Media outlets are urged to confirm news only via legitimate sources.
According to Rokna, Hamas refuted reports circulating in certain news outlets, which cited an unnamed Hamas source speaking to Al-Hadath. These reports suggested that Hamas had agreed to gradually hand over its weapons under international supervision. The movement labeled these claims as baseless and false.
Hamas emphasized: “We reiterate that official statements are only published through Hamas’s official website and Telegram channel. We call on media organizations to verify all information through these official sources.”
Earlier, Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath had reported that Hamas had agreed to transfer its weapons to a Palestinian-Egyptian body under international monitoring, a claim now officially denied by the movement.
