At the time of her death Biggs, 25, was involved in a bitter child custody battle with Cobb, jurors heard.

Stefanko, now 37, used a fake name to place the order, while Cobb waited in the car park with a Taser and a zip tie, which he used to strangle her.

Army veteran Ms Biggs' body was later found in a field in Wayne County, Ohio, close to her parents' home.

“I carried out my part. I did exactly what he told me to do."

Although prosecutors said she was not with her husband when he killed Ms Biggs, she drove him home after they abandoned the victim's car.

Stefanko is now married to one of Cobb's best friends, who is raising the killer's children.
