Rubio: The World Is Moving Toward a Potential Conflict

Marco Rubio, U.S. Secretary of State, stated: Today, more than at any time in human history, we are witnessing the possibility of a new conflict. There are countries that have not hesitated to use hard power to achieve their interests.

According to Rokna, citing The Euronews, he continued: We opened the doors to an unprecedented wave of migrants that threatened the future of our nations. Under President Trump, the United States will assume responsibility for renewal and reform.

Stating that the United States and Europe both belong to Western civilization and are connected to one another, he said: We want Europe to be strong and we believe in the necessity of its continuity.

Rubio stressed: The United States during the Trump era wants to take the lead in rebuilding the world. The United States and Europe belong to each other. We take pride in our shared heritage with Europe and can redraw the horizon of our economic and political future.

He added: It was American leadership that secured the release of the hostages in Gaza. The new coalition with Europe must focus on strengthening shared interests and opening new frontiers.

The U.S. Secretary of State further stated: We cannot place the global order above the interests of our own nations. We must have control over our national borders and over those who enter our country. We cannot allow those who endanger international stability to hide behind international law.

Rubio added: We do not seek separation from Europe; rather, we seek to rebuild the alliance with it. We do not want our allies to be weak, because that would weaken us.

He emphasized: The United Nations plays no role in resolving conflicts. The alliance between the United States and Europe must be able to defend our civilization, protect our interests, and shape our destiny. We are outlining a path toward a new century of prosperity and we want to do so in cooperation with Europe. While the end of the transatlantic era has made headlines, this is neither our goal nor our desire.

Rubio, stating that the United Nations plays no role in resolving disputes, said: The United States is not seeking to divide NATO but rather to strengthen it. We are making every effort to end the war in Ukraine and are looking forward to next Tuesday’s meeting in Geneva. We do not know whether the Russians want to end the war or not.

The U.S. Secretary of State emphasized: Our national interests may conflict with those of China, and we are trying to avoid economic conflicts. Another meeting regarding Ukraine will be held on Tuesday.
