Grossi Report: Iran Still Possesses 400 Kilograms of 60 Percent Enriched Uranium

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, in remarks regarding Iran, confirmed that ongoing negotiations are taking place with the participation of multiple actors, including discussions with world leaders such as U.S. President Donald Trump during his visit to the White House in October.

According to Rokna, Grossi, speaking in an interview with an Argentine media outlet, stated: “I am also in constant contact with Iranian, European, Russian, and Chinese officials, and I am trying to find a sustainable solution.”

Grossi went on to note that the situation, particularly after Israel’s 12-day war against Iran, remains far from resolved.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency also said that Iran’s high-enriched stockpiles, amounting to 400 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent, still exist.

He emphasized that inspectors must resume their work based on the framework of the agreement that is currently being negotiated.
