Global news outlets have reported the assassination of an Israeli nuclear professor residing in the United States.
According to Rokna, citing the BBC World Service, and based on announcements from U.S. police and MIT officials, Nuno Loureiro, a professor of nuclear science, engineering, and physics at MIT, was shot multiple times on Monday and passed away on Tuesday morning local time in hospital.
