Mossad: We Will Not Allow Tehran to Deceive the World or a Bad Nuclear Deal to Be Implemented
Rokna – Politics: Emphasizing the threats posed by Iran’s nuclear program, the head of Mossad said that Tehran is still seeking to deceive the international community and implement a bad nuclear agreement, and that Israel will not allow such an agreement to take shape.
Mossad Director David Barnea delivered remarks at a ceremony honoring employees of the intelligence agency. In part of his speech, he addressed Iran’s nuclear program and said: “Tehran has not abandoned its aspiration to destroy the State of Israel. Iran believes it can once again deceive the world and implement another bad nuclear agreement. This is a country that will move forward the moment it is able to do so. We have not allowed, and we will not allow, a bad agreement to be formed.”
According to Rokna, Yedioth Ahronoth further reported that he added: “The idea of continuing the production of a nuclear bomb is still beating in their hearts. Our responsibility is to ensure that the nuclear project, which was severely damaged in cooperation with the Americans, is never activated.”
Barnea also referred to the massacre that occurred in Australia, saying: “We will find the perpetrators of this attack, as well as their Iranian handlers, and also the jihadist operatives, wherever they have fled, and we will hold them to account. Justice will be served, and everyone will see it. They know this.”
