Netanyahu’s Analysis of the Middle East’s Future: A Request for Clemency and Predictions of Unusual Events

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, in a letter to Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel, claimed that the Middle East will witness unusual events in the coming months, and that this situation requires extensive preparations and continuous diplomatic and security efforts.

According to Rokna, quoting RT, he also claimed in the letter addressed to Herzog: “As someone who holds broad national public responsibility, and based on my understanding of my obligations toward all citizens, and after hearing your request that I responsibly manage my role as head of the government and continue my duties until the end of my term, my honor as a politician has always been my guiding principle.”

Netanyahu also claimed: “In the face of the security and diplomatic challenges Israel is currently confronting from hostile countries, I am committed to doing everything possible to bring back the kidnapped citizens and soldiers and to restore unity and strengthen mutual trust among state institutions.”

He also stated that the coming months will witness extraordinary events in the Middle East, adding: “We are already witnessing part of them these days. The understandings currently being discussed between the United States, Israel, the Arab states, and other countries require massive preparations and round-the-clock diplomatic and security efforts.”
