Normalization of Israel-Saudi Relations: Key Developments
Rakna Political Desk: A senior Saudi official has emphasized that the normalization of relations with Israel will only be possible if a two-state solution is achieved. The likelihood of reaching such an agreement under the current Netanyahu government is considered low.

A source within the Saudi royal family told Israel’s Channel 12: “There will be no normalization with Israel without a two-state solution.”
The source added: “Normalization is unlikely during the current Netanyahu administration. However, it could become feasible before the end of October 2026—just over a year from now—if a new government is formed that embraces the principle of a two-state solution and resolves the Middle East crisis once and for all.”
