Trump’s Sanctions on Iran and Russia: Global Implications of the Move

Donald Trump commented on the bill to intensify sanctions against Russia, stating that any country cooperating with Russia would be subject to stringent sanctions, and Iran could also be included under such legislation.

According to Rokna, citing RIA Novosti, U.S. President Donald Trump said: “Republicans are enacting laws that are extremely strict, sanctioning, etc., regarding any country that trades with Russia.”

He further added: “They may also include Iran in such legislation. As you know, I proposed it. So any country that trades with Russia will be severely sanctioned.” Trump also stated: “We may also add Iran to this formula.”
