The Clinton Spokesperson’s Response to Trump’s Threat

The spokesperson for former US President Bill Clinton reacted to the threats made by current US President Donald Trump regarding the release of documents on Clinton’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, characterizing these threats as an effort to cover up the Republican Party’s setbacks.

According to Rokna, citing Newsweek, Ángel Ureña, spokesperson for former President Bill Clinton, stated in a post on the social media platform X that the released documents show Clinton “committed no wrongdoing and had no knowledge of any misconduct.”

Referring to Trump’s threat to expose the former president’s alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced billionaire and sex trafficker, the spokesperson added that revisiting these cases is solely aimed at diverting public attention from political problems and failures.

Trump has called for an investigation into Epstein’s connections with Democratic figures, including Clinton. Clinton has previously said that his flights on Epstein’s plane were only part of missions related to the Clinton Foundation.
