U.S. threats and Maduro’s response: Continuous dialogue with Russia
Rokna Political Desk: Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, in reference to U.S. threats, announced that his country maintains extensive and daily cooperation with Russia across military, economic, and technological fields.
According to Rokna, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro said in a televised interview, in response to the growing U.S. threats against his country: “We are in daily contact with the Russian government regarding all matters.”
He added, “Our communication with Russia covers all key areas—from industry and technology to the economy and military affairs. This cooperation is based on mutual respect and shared interests.”
Maduro emphasized, “Russia is a major global power and, at the same time, is capable of establishing respectful relations with other countries, including Venezuela.”
Regarding the Russian Foreign Ministry’s recent statement expressing Moscow’s readiness to respond to Caracas’ requests amid current threats, he said, “That is correct. It must be that way—calmness, trust, and brotherhood.”
