Representative of Sabzevar in Parliament:
If the Enemy Decides to Attack, Iran Will Not Wait to Be Struck
Rokna Political Desk: A member of the Planning, Budget, and Accounting Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, emphasizing the change in the Islamic Republic’s strategy in confronting military threats, stated: “If the enemy decides to launch an attack, Iran’s response will be immediate and it will not wait to be struck. There is even the possibility of simultaneous or preemptive action; a policy that will allow no room for any mediation after the enemy’s move.”
According to Rokna’s parliamentary correspondent, Behrouz Mohabi Najmabadi, referring to the parliament’s positions regarding recent threats, said: “If the opposing side decides to attack, the plan is for the Islamic Republic of Iran to respond immediately, and even during the enemy’s action, a counter-response will be carried out.”
Behrouz Mohabi Najmabadi, stating that the parliament’s demand is preemptive action, added: “We in parliament believe that right now, while military vessels are present in the region, the moment they adopt a military formation against the Islamic Republic of Iran, they must be confronted. The entire region is under our intelligence control, and we possess precise information about their military formations.”
The representative of the people of Sabzevar in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, emphasizing that the country’s defensive policies have changed, stressed: “It is no longer like the past, where we would wait for the enemy to strike and then respond. Based on the experiences gained during the 12-day war, the Islamic Republic of Iran has addressed its weaknesses and has seriously strengthened its missile capabilities. Today, Iran is in a very favorable position in terms of offensive capability.”
He continued: “As soon as the enemy takes action, the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond immediately, and there will be no opportunity left for mediation or mediators. This message must be clearly conveyed that any action, even at a limited level, will be met with major punishment and a heavy response.”
This member of parliament, referring to the role of diplomacy, said: “The diplomatic channels of the Islamic Republic of Iran are active in line with national interests, and consultations with neighboring countries are ongoing, because if a flame is ignited in the region, the greatest damage will be inflicted on neighboring countries.”
Mohabi Najmabadi added: “Especially the Persian Gulf region, through which about 30 percent of the world’s oil is transported; any insecurity in this region will have a severe and direct impact on the global economy.”
He warned the United States and Europe, stating: “Trump must know that any decision to launch an attack, even a limited one, will impose very heavy costs on them. The nations of Europe and the United States must also understand that the conditions they have created for the Middle East and the genocides carried out in this region will return to them like a boomerang, and they too will suffer from the consequences.”
