Netanyahu Claims: Iranian Missiles Being Prepared to Target U.S. + Video
Rokna Political Desk: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has claimed that Iran is developing intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) capable of targeting the United States, including major cities, a threat he argues could endanger global security.
Speaking in an interview, Netanyahu alleged that Iran is advancing missile technology that could put cities such as New York, Boston, and Miami within the range of nuclear-capable weapons.
According to Rokna, citing The Jerusalem Post, Netanyahu stated that Iran could threaten any U.S. city and warned that many people do not fully recognize the danger. He added that Iran is developing missiles with an 8,000-kilometer range and could extend this range by another 3,000 kilometers to reach the U.S. East Coast.
Netanyahu emphasized the severity of the threat, stating:
“It is a major problem to be under the shadow of nuclear-armed actors who do not behave rationally.”
The Israeli Prime Minister also discussed the strategic advantages of the U.S.–Israel defense alliance, highlighting Israel’s historical advances in defensive weaponry. He revealed that Israel is jointly developing offensive weaponry with the United States, technology that he claims no other global power possesses. Netanyahu asserted:
“The most advanced technologies on Earth have been developed by Israel and shared with the United States.”
