White House Comments on Trump’s Insult to Reporters
Rokna Political Desk: The White House spokesperson, defending Donald Trump’s insult toward a journalist, described him as the most transparent president in U.S. history and accused reporters of spreading false news.
In a press briefing with journalists, the White House spokesperson defended Donald Trump’s remarks in which he had called a reporter a “pig-like” person.
A reporter asked the White House spokesperson what Trump meant by this comment. Karoline Leavitt responded that the president is a very frank and honest individual.
She said that when reporters lie about him and his administration, he becomes frustrated; however, in the meantime, he is the most transparent president in U.S. history.
A few days ago, Trump told a reporter who had asked him about his connection to the Jeffrey Epstein child sex-trafficking case, “Shut up, you pig-like creature.”
