Al-Jolani: We Will Not Negotiate Directly with Israel
Rokna Political Desk: The leader of the Syrian rebels controlling Damascus claimed on Tuesday that Syria will not engage in direct negotiations with Tel Aviv to normalize relations with the Israeli regime.
According to Rokna, Abu Muhammad al-Jolani, the head of the terrorist group Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, which has taken control of the government in Damascus, rejected the idea of direct talks with Israel.
Al-Jolani, who is currently visiting the United States, stated in an interview with Fox News early Tuesday that Syria will not engage in direct negotiations with Tel Aviv to normalize relations with Israel.
He elaborated on his claim, saying: “The U.S. government may help us reach some form of negotiation with Israel.”
The leader of the terrorist group ruling Damascus added: “Israel has occupied the Golan Heights, and we will not enter direct negotiations with it at this time.”
