Mohseni-Sani: Gaza Ceasefire a Victory of the People’s Resistance / Israeli Commitments Cannot Be Trusted + Video
Rokna Political Desk: Member of Iran’s Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Mohammad-Reza Mohseni-Sani, has stated that the recent ceasefire in Gaza is the result of the steadfast resistance of its two million residents. He emphasized that placing trust in the commitments of the Israeli regime or guarantees from the United States would constitute a strategic error.

Speaking to Rokna’s parliamentary correspondent about the recent developments in Gaza and the announcement of a ceasefire between Israel and the resistance forces, Mohseni-Sani said: “The two million people of Gaza stood resilient against the full military and political power of the West and achieved a significant victory.”
According to the representative of Sabzevar in Iran’s 12th Parliament, the ceasefire reflects the direct impact of the determination and resistance of the people of Gaza and local resistance groups, particularly Hamas. This development demonstrates that the numerical and technological superiority of Western powers is ineffective against the will of the people.
Addressing doubts regarding Israel’s compliance with agreements, he stressed: “Although we now observe a temporary political and operational pause in Gaza, there is no guarantee that Israel will uphold its commitments, nor that U.S. assurances are reliable. History shows that whenever global public pressure diminishes, Israel resumes its violations and aggression.”
Mohseni-Sani concluded: “A global consensus has now formed against Israeli aggression, and this unity must be preserved as a foundation for the security of the people of Gaza. If this international cohesion continues, the residents of Gaza may finally experience genuine peace and security after years of siege and conflict.”
