British Prime Minister: The Situation in Gaza Is Beyond Imagination

Speaking on Tuesday, Starmer said, “We are awaiting the release of the bodies of those killed [Israeli soldiers] from Gaza… The destruction and killings in the Gaza Strip have ended, and humanitarian aid has begun. We must expedite the delivery of additional aid to Gaza. The signing of the ceasefire agreement in Sharm El-Sheikh was historic.”

Without condemning the Israeli occupation’s actions against Gaza’s civilian population, the Prime Minister added: “Our next focus should be on implementing the Middle East peace plan. The devastation in Gaza is unimaginable and requires international efforts. We will work to fully implement the 20-point Middle East peace plan. We will continue close cooperation with the Palestinian Authority on the essential reforms it must undertake.”

Starmer also claimed: “We are ready to play a role in disarming Hamas and neutralizing its capabilities. There is an opportunity to implement the two-state solution, and we are fully committed to doing so.”
