Trump Warns of “Massive Bloodshed” if Gaza Deal Fails: Could He Be the Catalyst for Major Change?

Trump Warns of “Massive Bloodshed”2

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote:

“Very positive talks have been held with Hamas and countries from across the world — Arab, Muslim, and others — over the weekend to work toward the release of hostages, an end to the war in Gaza, and most importantly, the achievement of the long-sought peace in the Middle East.”

Trump added that the discussions were “highly successful and moving quickly forward,” noting that technical teams are scheduled to reconvene in Egypt on Monday to finalize the remaining details.

“I’ve been informed that the first stage must be completed by the end of this week, and I urge everyone to move swiftly,” he stated.

The former president emphasized that he would continue to “oversee this centuries-old conflict,” stressing the urgency of the situation:

“Time is critical; otherwise, massive bloodshed is coming — something no one wants to see.”

Trump’s remarks come amid ongoing efforts by U.S., Egyptian, and Qatari mediators to broker a comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza and initiate the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces. Observers say Trump’s increasing involvement may signal his intent to position himself as a decisive peace negotiator in the Middle East ahead of the U.S. elections.
