Trump Hints at Possible Amendments to Controversial Gaza Peace Plan

Speaking on Sunday, President Trump said: “There may be some changes to the Gaza plan.”

According to Rokna, citing Al Jazeera, Trump described the Gaza agreement as “a major deal for Israel.” He added:

“Talks are going very well. The Gaza hostages will be released very soon. The Gaza agreement is significant for Israel, the Arab world, and the entire international community.”

Trump reiterated that “there might be modifications to the Gaza plan,” stressing that the initiative “will bring peace to the Middle East.” He also noted that negotiations to secure the release of hostages from Gaza are ongoing, adding:

“We will see what happens in the next two days regarding the Gaza peace plan discussions.”

Trump’s optimism over the outcome of his ceasefire proposal comes despite Israel’s ongoing failure to uphold previous commitments and agreements.

Meanwhile, the Hamas movement recently confirmed that it had delivered its official response to Trump’s ceasefire proposal to mediators, expressing its agreement to release all Israeli captives — both alive and deceased.
