Trump Unveils 20-Point Plan for Gaza Peace
Rokna Political Desk: The White House has unveiled former U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan aimed at ending the war in Gaza, emphasizing the creation of a zone free of terrorism and extremism, alongside the return of all captives within 72 hours of accepting the agreement.

The announcement was made during Trump’s meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which the plan for ending the Gaza conflict was formally presented.
According to Rokna, citing Sputnik, the plan stipulates that “Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza.”
A White House statement accompanying the proposal declared: “Gaza will be a region free of extremism and terrorism that poses no threat to its neighbors. Furthermore, within 72 hours of Israel’s public acceptance of this agreement, all captives, alive or deceased, will be returned.”
The plan further outlines that following the release of all captives, Israel will free 250 prisoners serving life sentences in addition to 1,700 Palestinians detained after October 7, 2023.
The White House affirmed that the United States will facilitate dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to reach agreement on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous coexistence.
If both sides agree to the proposal, the war will end immediately. Gaza will then be administered by a provisional government consisting of a technocratic committee of Palestinians and international experts, under the supervision of a “Peace Council” chaired by Trump and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Trump stressed in the plan: “There will be no forced evacuations. Residents are encouraged to remain and help build a better Gaza. However, they may freely leave and return at will.”
The comprehensive document details 20 points, including:
-
Gaza will be free of terrorism and will not threaten its neighbors.
-
Reconstruction of Gaza for the benefit of its people.
-
Immediate cessation of war upon acceptance by both parties, with Israeli forces withdrawing to agreed lines to prepare for prisoner releases.
-
Return of all captives within 72 hours of Israel’s acceptance.
-
