Zelensky: Iran Will Never Be on Our Side
Rokna Political Desk: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his latest remarks, criticized the idea of territorial exchanges with Russia and claimed that Iran would never be on Ukraine’s side.

Speaking on Wednesday in an interview with a U.S. media outlet, Zelensky discussed his recent talks with U.S. President Donald Trump and addressed other issues.
According to Rokna, Zelensky told Fox News following his meeting with Trump: “Today we had a good conversation with President Trump, and I think he understands that we cannot exchange territories with Russia; it is neither fair nor realistic. The president’s view on this matter has changed.”
While Iran has repeatedly emphasized that it does not support any side in the Russia–Ukraine war, Zelensky nevertheless stated in this interview: “Iran will never be on our side.”
Regarding relations with India, Zelensky said: “I think India is mostly with us. We had an issue in the energy sector, but we believe President Trump, in cooperation with the Europeans, can build closer and stronger ties with India. We must do everything possible not to lose India, and they are shifting their perspective on Russia’s energy sector.”
Zelensky added: “I think President Trump can also change the view of Xi Jinping, the president of China, on this war, because we do not feel that China wants this war to end.”
