Trump Says UN Speech Boosted by Technical Glitches, Stresses Energy and Immigration
Rpkna Political Desk: U.S. President Donald Trump described his address to the United Nations as a “great honor,” highlighting energy and immigration as the central themes of his remarks.
“I believe the speech was very well received. Its main focus was on energy and the entry of migrants. I have been speaking about these issues for a long time, and this assembly was the best opportunity to emphasize these two important points. I hope everyone will watch it,” Trump stated.
He added that unexpected technical difficulties – including a malfunctioning teleprompter and a stalled escalator leading to the podium – may have made his speech “more interesting than usual.”
“It is always an honor to deliver a speech at the United Nations, even if their equipment is somewhat faulty. Let’s make America great again!” Trump concluded.
