Oman’s Grand Mufti Warns Against Controversial “Greater Israel” Plan
Rokna Political Desk: The Grand Mufti of Oman has issued a stern warning regarding the “Greater Israel” plan proposed by the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, describing it as a continuation of the occupiers’ historic dream. He emphasized that the only way to confront such schemes is adherence to truth and the strengthening of spiritual unity.

In his remarks, the Mufti of Oman cautioned against the plan of the Zionist regime’s Prime Minister to establish what he referred to as “Greater Israel,” stressing: “This dream has a long history.” He added that those who supported the occupiers and weakened the resistance must realize that “the only path to salvation lies in holding fast to truth and reinforcing the unity of faith.”
According to Rokna, citing Al-Aqsa TV, Sheikh Ahmad al-Khalili, the Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, reacted to the recent statements of the Zionist regime’s Prime Minister by posting a message in which he said: “Netanyahu shocked the world with his project to create Greater Israel, although this dream is nothing new and has a long history.”
He further stated that those who demonstrated loyalty to this occupying regime, providing it with money and weapons, as well as those seeking to disarm the resistance, should take a lesson from these developments.
The Mufti of Oman declared: “It should be clear to all who stand beside the enemy that there is no path to salvation other than clinging to truth, reinforcing unity of faith, solidarity, and support for the truth that has been abandoned.”
Sheikh al-Khalili has previously reiterated Oman’s unwavering stance in defense of the Palestinian cause and the necessity for the Islamic Ummah to confront the aggressions of the Zionist regime.
These remarks came after Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, recently stated in an interview with the regime’s “i24” channel: “I am carrying out a historic and spiritual mission and am emotionally tied to the dream of Greater Israel.”
Netanyahu’s remarks were met with strong backlash and widespread condemnation from Arab users across social media platforms.
Earlier, Arab states including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, and Qatar had also condemned Netanyahu’s statements.
