Former Israeli Prime Minister:
Lying Comes More Naturally to Netanyahu Than Breathing
Rokna Political Desk – Ehud Barak, former Prime Minister of Israel, launched a scathing criticism of Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of neglecting the security of the occupied territories while focusing solely on personal interests and political survival.

The former prime minister said: “Benjamin Netanyahu, the current prime minister, lies as easily as he breathes, and Donald Trump, his supporter, understands nothing about military affairs.”
According to Rokna, citing the Palestinian news agency Ma’an, Ehud Barak sharply attacked Benjamin Netanyahu, asserting that Netanyahu no longer cares about the security of the country (the occupied Palestinian territories), but only about his personal safety and political survival.
In his latest remarks, Barak accused Netanyahu of launching a futile war with the aim of escaping trial on charges of corruption and the crisis over the exemption of Haredim from military service.
The former prime minister added that Netanyahu misled Donald Trump, President of the United States, and his close circle, convincing them that Israel had only two options: either to bow before Hamas or to continue fighting until the last Hamas fighter was eliminated.
Barak, stating that “Netanyahu succeeded in securing U.S. approval for the continuation of this futile war,” added: “Trump understands nothing of military affairs and is entirely dependent on Netanyahu.”
Expressing his conviction that the continuation of the war would serve the interests of Hamas, Barak said: “Israel will sink deeper into the Gaza quagmire and will not be able to eliminate the Hamas movement through this course.”
The former prime minister concluded by saying: “We may have had disagreements with some of our former leaders, but they were neither cowards nor liars. Today we are living under the leadership of a man who has completely lost his compass.”
Israel, with the backing of the United States, has waged a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 (15 Mehr 1402). As a result, beyond the massive destruction and deadly famine, thousands of Palestinians – the majority of them women and children – have been martyred and wounded.
Tel Aviv, disregarding the international community, continues to commit acts of genocide against the residents of Gaza, in defiance of the United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire, and the orders of the International Court of Justice mandating measures to prevent genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
Despite all these atrocities, the Zionist regime has admitted that it has not yet achieved its goals in this war, namely the destruction of the Hamas movement and the return of Israeli captives from the Gaza Strip.
