Rokna Political Desk: Susan Rice, former National Security Advisor under President Obama, has raised controversy with a claim suggesting that Putin may have planted a listening device in Trump’s limousine, voicing concerns about the recent meeting between the two leaders.
Susan Rice, the former National Security Advisor to the Obama administration, in provocative remarks stated: “I hope Putin, as a former KGB chief, did not place a listening device in the back seat of the president’s [Trump’s] limousine.”
She added: “Putin’s presence in Trump’s limousine was an extraordinary gesture. He entered without an interpreter and without staff, and apparently knows enough English to hold a conversation. This occurrence, without any security oversight, is troubling.”
Rice went on to say: “The recent Trump-Putin summit was a major victory for the Kremlin. Putin emerged from international isolation, was warmly welcomed on American soil, and gave up nothing in return. No ceasefire, no new sanctions, and no change in his stance on Ukraine.”
