Trump: Stop the War or Lose Trade
Rokna Political Desk: U.S. President Donald Trump has made it clear that he will not engage in any business dealings with Russian President Vladimir Putin until a peace agreement ends the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

According to Rokna, citing The Telegraph Speaking aboard Air Force One en route to Alaska, Mr. Trump emphasized that while Putin has brought a large delegation of Russian business figures, economic engagement will only be possible once hostilities cease. “They want to do business, and that’s positive, but not until the war is settled,” he stated.
According to reports, the U.S. leader is travelling to Anchorage with a package of financial proposals aimed at facilitating a ceasefire. He underscored the strength of the American economy, noting that Russia’s economic situation is currently struggling. “Putin wants a piece of America’s success,” he said, “but his country is facing the opposite trajectory.”
Mr. Trump reiterated that Russia would face “very severe” consequences if a settlement is not reached.
The summit is scheduled at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, though the original 11:30 a.m. local time (8:30 p.m. BST) meeting may face delays. Before heading to Alaska, President Putin stopped in Magadan in Russia’s Far East to meet local officials and inspect an industrial facility.
