Woman Breaks Into Dentist’s Office, Pulls 13 Teeth From Patient: Police

MPs claim that Laurel Eich – who is not a dentist – broke into a dental office where she claimed to have previously worked.

Eich reportedly stole $ 22,861 in cash and checks during the May 3 break-in, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

In the meantime, the tooth extraction took place at a different time than the break-in, Eich told the detectives. She also admitted using anesthetics discarded by the office, police said.

Eich, 42, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with two burglaries and one charge each of aggravated theft, conspiracy to break into and perform an operation on someone else without medical approval.

Investigators did not say how they identified Eich as a person of interest in the case, but they said she admitted to “several people”, including MPs, that she performed the medical procedure.

Eich, a Reno resident, allegedly performed the extractions “in her spare time,” the Daily Mail reported.

She is on remand in Washoe County Jail on a $ 20,000 bond.
