China Successfully Launches New Group of Remote Sensing Satellites

According to Rokna, citing Xinhua China on Sunday successfully launched a new group of remote sensing satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi Province.

The Yaogan-40 03 satellites were launched at 12:34 a.m. Beijing Time aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket and successfully entered their predetermined orbits.

These satellites will be used to carry out electromagnetic environment detection and related technical tests.

The launch marked the 593rd mission of the Long March carrier rockets.
