A collision between a cargo plane and a vehicle at Hong Kong International Airport has left two people dead.
Rokna Social Desk: The incident occurred when a Boeing 744 cargo aircraft, arriving from the United Arab Emirates, collided with a ground vehicle during landing. The crash caused an emergency situation at one of the world’s busiest airports.

According to Rokna, images and videos shared by local media show parts of the aircraft submerged in the sea near the airport, with visible cracks and severe damage to the fuselage.
According to Hong Kong’s Civil Aviation Department, the aircraft deviated from its path while landing and crashed into the sea in the wrong direction.
Authorities confirmed that four crew members were rescued and taken to the hospital, while two ground staff lost their lives after falling into the sea.
The affected runway has been temporarily closed, though two other runways at Hong Kong International Airport remain operational. More than 12 cargo flights scheduled for Monday were canceled, but passenger flight operations were not affected.
