Culture Minister: Farshchian Was a Unique Ambassador of Iranian Art and Culture + Video
Rokna Social Desk: At the commemoration ceremony of Master Mahmoud Farshchian, Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, while emphasizing the unparalleled stature of this renowned artist, described him as a unique ambassador for Iranian art and culture, stating that Farshchian’s works will continue to be worthy representatives of Iran across the world.
Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, on the sidelines of the commemoration ceremony entitled “The Wise Master and Eternal Artist Mahmoud Farshchian, Painter of the Sky of Imagination”, said in an interview with Rokna:
“Master Farshchian was one of the unparalleled peaks of our era; a figure who succeeded in being both an ambassador of Iranian art and an ambassador of Iran to various nations. The opportunities he created for our country were unique and rare. In truth, today we do not possess such an ambassador in harmony with Iranian culture and civilization, although his enduring works still are and will remain ambassadors of Iran.”
The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance also referred to the upcoming programs in this regard, adding:
“This path is being pursued with determination within the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and as mentioned, tomorrow will also mark the renewed opening of this path.”
