Afghan National Arrested While Attempting to Sell Iranian Girl to Pakistani Citizen / Incident in Zahedan + Video

According to Rokna, Colonel Mehdi Khani, Chief of Police of Bam and Safiabad County, announced the rescue of a young girl and the arrest of an Afghan national before her illegal departure from the country.

Colonel Khani stated that following the report of a missing young girl in Bam and Safiabad County, a team from the Criminal Investigation Police immediately initiated technical measures and investigative operations, identifying the involvement of an Afghan national in the case. Investigations revealed that the suspect, after deceiving the girl, had transferred her to Zahedan County and intended to hand her over to Pakistani nationals in exchange for narcotics.

The police commander added that with the cooperation of the Intelligence Police of Zahedan County, and through a timely operation, the suspect was apprehended before the girl could be taken out of the country and was handed over to judicial authorities. He emphasized that the vigilance and swift action of the police saved the girl’s life and prevented a possible crime.
