Star Wars Outlaws to Be Released on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4 + Video

Rokna – Ubisoft has officially announced that Star Wars Outlaws will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 console on September 4, 2025 (13 Shahrivar 1404). This title represents the first-ever open-world experience within the Star Wars universe. In the game, players will assume the role of Kay Vess (voiced by Humberly González) and her loyal companion Nix (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, known from the Star Wars: The Bad Batch series), as they undertake one of the greatest heists in galactic history on the edge of the galaxy.

During the Nintendo Direct event held in July 2025, alongside the announcement of the release date, Ubisoft also unveiled a new downloadable content (DLC) expansion titled "A Pirate’s Fortune." This expansion, which was previously released on May 15, 2025, for other platforms, will become available on the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4. In this DLC, Kay and Nix, together with the notorious space pirate Hondo Ohnaka, embark on a treasure hunt inside the perilous Tomb of Khepi, where they confront a new faction known as the Miyuki Trade League.

Moreover, Ubisoft has announced that a free trial version of Star Wars Outlaws is now available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. This trial provides approximately three hours of gameplay, offering players an opportunity to become familiar with the game's world and mechanics.

Considering the widespread popularity of open-world games and the enduring appeal of the Star Wars franchise, the release of Star Wars Outlaws on Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to deliver a compelling and widely embraced experience for fans of this iconic universe.
