Rokna Political Desk: Iran’s ambassador to Russia stated that Russian aircraft landing in Iran is part of the implementation of recent military agreements between the two countries. These collaborations demonstrate the depth of strategic relations between Tehran and Moscow.
According to Rokna, regarding the matter of Russian military aircraft landing in Iran, the ambassador explained, “In recent years, important military and defense agreements have been signed between Iran and Russia. The arrival and departure of these aircraft are related to the implementation of these agreements.”
Based on reports from Young Journalists Club, Kazem Jalali, referring to issues such as sanctions and drones, noted that these two factors have made Iran increasingly recognized among the Russian people in recent years. He added, “Russians ask us how we have been able to withstand sanctions for 40 years and seek to learn from our experiences.”
Need for a Russian-Language TV Network
Jalali emphasized the necessity of establishing a Russian-language television network to introduce Iran to Russia, stating, “I have proposed this for years. I have told two former heads of Iran’s national broadcaster to air tourism programs produced by individuals such as Mr. Qaraei in Russian and witness their remarkable impact.”
Russian Forces Protecting Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant
He also pointed out that even during the 12-day war, Russian forces did not leave the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant. He added that during one of Mr. Larijani’s visits to Russia, a two-and-a-half-hour meeting was held with Vladimir Putin, part of which addressed issues related to domestic unrest.
