Clause Netanyahu Requested Trump to Add to Deal with Iran / What Did He Demand?
Rokna Political Desk: What did Netanyahu request regarding Iran during his meeting with Trump?
According to Rokna, Israeli media claim that the Prime Minister of the regime demanded in his meeting with the U.S. President that any agreement with Iran must impose permanent restrictions.
Israeli Radio and Television reported that “Benjamin Netanyahu,” the Prime Minister of Israel, requested during his meeting with Donald Trump, President of the United States, that any potential deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran be open-ended, with no expiration date, and prevent the development of Iran’s nuclear program.
According to the report, he also sought to portray Iran’s nuclear program as non-peaceful, stating that any agreement with Iran must prevent the country from acquiring nuclear weapons.
In this context, Al Arabiya, citing the Israeli Radio and Television Corporation, reported that during the Netanyahu-Trump meeting, the possibility of military action against Iran was also raised.
The Israeli Radio and Television Corporation added that the Netanyahu-Trump session lasted longer than expected and that no press conference or public statements would be issued at its conclusion.
These reports and speculations come from Israeli media, while despite prolonged talks at the White House, no journalists were allowed to attend, and no details regarding the content of the meeting have been released.
Iran has repeatedly stated that its nuclear program is entirely peaceful and includes its legal rights to use nuclear technology for energy and medical purposes.
Iran also emphasizes that its national security and defense are non-negotiable, and any attempt to limit the legitimacy of its nuclear program will not be accepted.
The Prime Minister of the Israeli regime further stated that approval for membership in the Gaza Peace Council had been completed prior to the meeting with Donald Trump.
He added that this measure is part of Israel’s efforts to strengthen and deepen strategic cooperation with the United States.
