Trump: Iran Negotiations Were the Focus of My Talks with Netanyahu
Rokna Political Desk: Trump claimed that during his meeting with Netanyahu he emphasized the necessity of continuing negotiations with Iran, while some speculations have been raised regarding the influence of the Israeli regime on the nuclear talks.
According to Rokna, “Donald Trump,” the President of the United States, in a message on his social media platform, referring to his meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, said that no outcome was achieved in the session except that he stressed the continuation of negotiations with Iran to see whether a deal could be reached or not.
Trump’s claim of preferring negotiations with Iran comes while on June 13 of the current year, at a time when the sixth round of negotiations between Iran and the United States regarding the nuclear agreement was scheduled to be held in Oman, the Israeli regime, after receiving a green light from the United States, launched an attack against Iran. Later, according to the admission of American officials, it became clear that amid the negotiations between Iran and the United States, the army of the Israeli regime had been coordinating its operation with American officials.
Trump further claimed in his message that he told Netanyahu that his preferred option is the continuation of negotiations with Iran; otherwise, it remains to be seen what the outcome will be. Trump expressed hope that Iran would act more wisely and responsibly this time. Senior Iranian officials have also stated that while they prefer the option of diplomacy with Washington, the hands of the armed forces remain on the trigger to respond decisively to any miscalculation.
