Grossi: Inspectors Ready to Examine Key Sites in Iran

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said in an interview, referring to the indirect talks between Iran and the United States in Oman over the nuclear file, that the Agency’s inspectors are fully prepared to be dispatched to Iran.

According to Rokna, citing Russia-24, he added that the Agency’s inspectors are currently carrying out inspections “at some smaller sites,” but are ready “to go to more important locations.”

Grossi said the position of the IAEA is to bring all parties back to the negotiating table and to reach an agreement that would allow the inspectors of this international body to return to Iran.

He said: “We need to get out of the deadlock in which we have been stuck since the 12-day war.”
