Hebrew Media: The Sole Focus of Witkoff-Netanyahu Meeting Was Iran

According to Rokna, Hebrew media reported that, contrary to the statement issued by Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, the meeting between the Israeli Prime Minister and the U.S. representative was solely focused on Iran.

According to Rokna, citing ISNA via Israel Hayom, earlier, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, during his meeting with Steve Witkoff, the U.S. Middle East representative in occupied Jerusalem, stated that the Palestinian Authority would under no circumstances assume any part of Gaza’s administration following the war.

The Lebanese news outlet Al-Nashra reported that at the conclusion of this meeting, Netanyahu’s office emphasized in a statement that the Israeli Prime Minister clarified that the Palestinian Authority would in no way participate in governing the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu’s office further added that prior to Witkoff’s presence for a meeting with the Iranian representative, the Israeli Prime Minister had expressed his view that “Iran has repeatedly proven to be untrustworthy.”

Simultaneously, Hebrew media reported that, contrary to the statement issued by Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, the meeting between the Israeli Prime Minister and the U.S. representative was solely focused on Iran’s nuclear dossier.
