Ghalibaf: European Armies Considered Terrorist Groups / Europeans Shot Themselves by Trying to Harm the IRGC

According to Rokna’s parliamentary correspondent, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, in today’s (Sunday) open session during his pre-agenda speech, congratulated the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) return to Iran and the beginning of the blessed Fajr decade of the Islamic Revolution, and said: “The victory of the Islamic Revolution was the day to sever the hands of foreigners from the dear land of Iran.”

He continued: “The great Khomeini (RA) gave courage once again to a nation that had endured the grief of British occupation, the American coup, and the loss of its land under puppet and powerless governments, so that they could save their country from similar events, stand against separatists and traitors, and in a word, not allow this country to be swallowed by the fear and weakness of a few puppet politicians directed by America and other arrogant powers.”

Ghalibaf emphasized: “A strong, independent, and united Iran is the main obstacle to the long-term plans of the arrogant system, and the enmity toward the Islamic Revolution of Iran is precisely because of this.”

Referring to the statements of Imam Khomeini (RA), he said: “The great founder of the Islamic Revolution advised all generations, advice that is essential for our present days. He emphasized that without a doubt, the secret of the survival of the Islamic Revolution is the same as the secret of its victory, which the nation understands, and future generations will read in history that its two main pillars are divine motivation and the high purpose of Islamic governance, and the gathering of the nation across the country with unity of word for that motivation and purpose.”

Real Belief in the 90-Million Core is Essential to Overcome Current Difficult Conditions

The Speaker stated: “Imam (RA) further advised all present and future generations that if you want Islam and the rule of Allah to prevail, and the hands of colonialists and exploiters, both foreign and domestic, to be cut off from your country, do not lose this divine motivation, which Allah the Almighty has recommended in the Holy Qur’an. Opposing this motivation, which is the secret of victory and survival, is forgetting the goal and fostering division and conflict. Real belief in the 90-million core is essential to overcome the current difficult conditions.”

Ghalibaf added: “Each of us, officials and people alike, is responsible for this wise advice. Avoiding prioritizing factional interests over national interests and having real belief in the 90-million core is necessary to overcome the present challenges. Unfortunately, once a wave of events subsides, some again loudly forget the national cause and impose factional concerns over others.”

He continued: “All our efforts should focus on supporting people’s livelihoods, improving economic problems, and also listening to their legitimate demands and protests. All our efforts must be directed toward supporting people’s livelihoods and listening to their legitimate protests.”

European Action Against the IRGC: A Self-Inflicted Blow

Responding to the European Union’s action in labeling the IRGC as a terrorist group, the Speaker said: “The irresponsible action of the European Union in falsely labeling the sacred IRGC as a terrorist organization, which was carried out in compliance with the directives of the U.S. President and the leaders of the Zionist regime, accelerated Europe’s irrelevance in the future global order.”

Ghalibaf, emphasizing that pro-Zionist currents primarily seek media manipulation targeting the Iranian people and independent countries, stated: “Everyone should know that the Iranian people consider the IRGC as part of themselves, providing their security. In all hardships—from natural disasters like floods and earthquakes to the widespread COVID-19 pandemic, to reconstruction and poverty alleviation—this sacred institution is seen alongside them.”

He continued: “Such attacks only strengthen social solidarity in support of the IRGC to maintain the dignity and national security of our country.”

He noted: “Europeans, by attempting to harm the IRGC, which has been the greatest barrier against the spread of terrorism to Europe, have shot themselves in the foot and, once again, blindly obeying the Americans, acted against the interests of their people.”

America Does Not Value Europe

The Speaker added: “Europe seeks through these actions to please its master, the United States, to stop threatening their territorial integrity, but this master has shown that it does not value its subordinates.”

Ghalibaf continued: “The IRGC is the most unique anti-terrorist institution in the world that, with the help of regional people, toppled the ISIS government and eliminated the global threat of this terrorist group, sacrificing hundreds of martyrs in the fight against international terrorism, including one of its greatest and most experienced commanders, Martyr General Soleimani.”

The IRGC Will Become Stronger Day by Day

He emphasized: “The sacred IRGC, backed by the wise nation of Iran and the oppressed people of the world, will become stronger day by day and strike the head of every arrogant oppressor against the stone. The IRGC sacrifices its life for Iran and the Islamic Revolution, and the enmity of global supporters of terrorism will not diminish the power of this blessed tree in the slightest.”

In conclusion, the Speaker said: “According to Article 7 of the Law on Reciprocal Action, in response to labeling the IRGC as a terrorist organization, the armies of European countries are considered terrorist groups, and the consequences of this action will be the responsibility of the European Union.”
