Rokna Political Desk: Military forces of the United Arab Emirates have begun withdrawing from Al-Riyan International Airport in Al-Mukalla. This operation, which involves the transfer of hundreds of soldiers and heavy equipment via four military aircraft, is part of a broader reorganization of the UAE’s military deployment in Yemen.
News sources reported the commencement of UAE forces’ withdrawal from Al-Riyan International Airport in Al-Mukalla.
According to Rokna, exclusive sources told the Yemen satellite network that UAE forces have begun their withdrawal from Al-Riyan International Airport in Al-Mukalla.
The sources stated that four military cargo aircraft took off from Al-Mukalla Airport carrying hundreds of UAE soldiers and heavy equipment.
They also indicated that the purpose of this operation is to reorganize the UAE’s military deployment and manage critical facilities under the coalition’s oversight.
Some field sources reported that UAE officers, prior to leaving Al-Mukalla, burned large quantities of files and important documents related to their operations in Yemen’s Hadhramaut province.
Yesterday, Yemen’s Saudi-backed Presidential Council canceled the joint defense agreement with the UAE and called for the country’s withdrawal from Yemen.
