Rokna Political Desk: Vladimir Putin appeared in military attire at the Russian Army Command Headquarters and discussed with commanders the status of the special operation and the progress of missions in Donbas—a strategic step toward achieving Moscow’s objectives.
The Kremlin spokesperson announced that the Russian President held a meeting at one of the joint forces command headquarters to review the status of the special military operation in the region.
According to Rokna, Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin spokesperson, stated on Saturday evening: “Vladimir Putin, President and Commander-in-Chief of Russia, received a report from Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.”
As reported by RT, Peskov emphasized: “Commanders of the Central and Eastern Army Groups, as well as unit commanders, presented a report to the President on the progress of combat missions, particularly the liberation of the cities of Dimitrov in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.”
During this meeting, Vladimir Putin, noting that Russian forces have achieved significant results, stated: “We must focus on the immediate objectives of the Russian Armed Forces.”
He added: “The Russian Armed Forces are accomplishing all set objectives within the framework of the special military operation.”
The Russian President emphasized: “Russian forces are increasing pressure on the Ukrainian Armed Forces from all directions.”
Continuing his remarks, Putin stressed that the Russian Army confidently holds the initiative along all contact lines, stating: “Control over Krasnoarmisk and Dimitrov creates favorable conditions for the complete liberation of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Likewise, the liberation of Huliaipole opens promising prospects for the offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region.”
He noted: “Russia requested Ukraine to grant the residents of Donbas the legitimate right to self-determination, but Kyiv decided to initiate the war. There are parties in the West advising Kyiv to accept honorable conditions for ending the conflict, yet the Kyiv regime is in no hurry to resolve it peacefully.”
The Russian President added: “Given the pace of the Russian army’s advance, Russia’s interest in the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from occupied territories has dropped to zero. Nevertheless, Russian forces are executing orders to establish a security zone in the Dnipropetrovsk region, while the Dnipro group has been advancing toward Zaporizhzhia, and the Stepnogorsk area has been liberated.”
