Has Iran’s Nuclear Capability Been Destroyed? Pentagon Claims
Rokna Political Desk: The Pentagon has claimed that operations aimed at destroying Iran’s nuclear capabilities were completely successful and that Iran no longer has the ability to rebuild its nuclear program.
On Tuesday, Kingsley Wilson, spokesperson for the Pentagon, asserted that the U.S. operation to dismantle Iran’s nuclear capabilities had been successful.
According to Rokna, Wilson stated in a press briefing: “I can tell you that the overnight hammer operation was completely successful. Iran’s nuclear capacity has been entirely destroyed.”
The Pentagon official further claimed that Iran lacks the ability to reconstruct its nuclear program.
This claim comes despite earlier remarks by Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, who said that Iran’s nuclear capabilities had not been destroyed and that the country retains the ability to rebuild all of its nuclear capacities, despite attacks on its nuclear facilities.
