Since Trump’s inauguration in January, his popularity has been declining, particularly from March onward following federal budget cuts implemented by his administration. Discontent with Trump also surpassed 50 percent in April, after the White House announced a tariff regime that led to rising domestic prices and generated controversy abroad.
