Trump to Visit Beijing

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Monday that, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, he will visit Beijing in April.

According to Rokna, Trump wrote in a post on the social media platform Truth Social: “I just had a very good phone conversation with President Xi of China. We talked about many subjects, including Ukraine/Russia, fentanyl, soybeans, other agricultural products, and more. We had a great and very important deal for our great American farmers — and it will only get better.”

Trump continued: “Our relationship with China is very strong! This call followed our very successful meeting in South Korea three weeks ago. Since that time, significant progress has been made on both sides in keeping our agreements up to date.”

He concluded: “We can now focus on the bigger picture. In this regard, President Xi invited me to visit Beijing in April. I accepted the invitation, and in return, he will be my guest for an official state visit to the United States later this year. We agreed that constant communication is very important, and I look forward to doing so. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
