Israeli Defense Minister to Erdogan: You Will See Gaza Only Through a Camera

The Israeli defense minister issued a sharp and sarcastic response to the Turkish president following the arrest warrants issued by Turkey’s prosecution office against senior Israeli officials. In his post, he wrote: “Erdogan, take these ridiculous summonses and get out of here; they are more fitting for the massacres you committed against the Kurds. Israel is strong and unafraid. You will see Gaza only through a camera.”
On Sunday, the Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office announced that it had issued arrest warrants for 37 officials of the occupying regime, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, Naval Commander David Sa’ar Salameh, and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

According to the prosecutor’s statement, the warrants were issued under accusations of “genocide” and “crimes against humanity” committed in the Gaza Strip. The defendants are being prosecuted under Articles 76 and 77 of the Turkish Penal Code.
