US Secretary of War: Today’s Situation Strikingly Similar to the Pre-World War II Era
Rokna Political Desk: The US Secretary of War, referring to the current global situation, likened it to the year 1939, prior to the outbreak of World War II, and warned of the increasing unity among adversaries and the spread of threats.
The United States Secretary of War stated that the present state of the world is reminiscent of the period before World War II, with growing threats and strengthening alliances among enemies.
According to Rokna, Pete Hegst, the US Secretary of War, remarked that conditions now resemble those of 1939, before the start of the Second World War.
He said: “A moment like 1939 has arrived. Or perhaps, I hope, it will be more like 1981. The situation is becoming increasingly urgent each day; enemies are uniting, and threats are spreading. You can feel it, and I feel it too.”
