Qalibaf Visits Pakistan
Rokna Political Desk: Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Iranian Parliament), departed today at the head of a delegation comprising members of parliament and senior parliamentary officials for a visit to Pakistan to meet with the country’s political and cultural leaders.
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of Parliament, left for Pakistan this morning, accompanied by Deputy Speaker Ali Nikzad and Mohsen Esmaeili, the President’s Deputy for Strategic and Parliamentary Affairs.
According to Rokna, meetings and discussions with the Speaker and members of Pakistan’s National Assembly and Senate, as well as senior political figures including Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, are among the key items on the Speaker’s agenda during this visit.
During the trip, Qalibaf will also travel to Lahore and Karachi — Pakistan’s cultural and economic centers — where he will hold meetings with cultural and religious scholars, as well as business leaders and traders of the country.
The Speaker is accompanied on this trip by Fada Hossein Maleki, Mohammad Noor Dahani, Rahmadel Bamari, Mehrdad Goodarzi Vand, and Fazlollah Ranjbar.
